Fridge taking more electric power why?
First you have to access back side of refrigerator, listen carefully if compressor running noise is heard? that noise will be stop if you set lower temperature for frige and freezer compartment. For example if the setting of fridge temperature is 3 degree Celsius then set it to 5 degree Celsius and freezer temperature 🌡 is minus 19 degree Celsius then set it to minus 14 degree Celsius, and goback to hear the running sound, it should be stop.
If it is not stopping within 10 minutes then call for repair, and if you are repair technicians then check thermostat function and working condition, if thermostat is ok then check Refrigrent gas status, fan motor working, freezer defrost working, door seal gasket status.
If fridge has pbc and sensor model then check sensor with multimeter, pcb status of working.
You have to also check Refrigrent gas status, fan motor working, freezer defrost working, door seal gasket status.
Refrigrent Gas proble is also a easy finding job.
First check if compressor is running, check heating of discharge line, discharged line is generally found right side of compressor have lower diameter.
If you find discharge line then check heating of this line during compressor working status, it may be hotter than the cup of tea.
You need to also check the side of refrigerator and condensor heating, next check the filter drier it should be normally heated.
If no heating found then ready for gas charging.
